Collaboration with the Grand Valley State University Orchestra

On 20th of February, 2025, I had the privilege to work with the Grand Valley State University Orchestra in performing my "Anime Suite Symphonic Suite No. 1", conducted by Dr Joel Schut. Every player worked incredibly hard in bring this Suite into real life, to which I couldn't have been more grateful and satisfied with the final performance!

When I first began working on this suite in 2021 as a first-year university student, I never imagined that one day it would be performed on the other side of the world. Over the years, bands and orchestras from China—where I was born, Australia-where I was raised—as well as from Chile and Malaysia, have expressed interest in performing this piece. This reminds me that music is a universal language—one that transcends distance, time, and culture. Without a single word, we can understand each other’s passion and creativity, uniting in our shared desire to express something meaningful.
